CNC circular saw

A blanking machine is a high-speed metal fabrication press that uses a punch and die to cut precise, flat shapes (blanks) from sheets or coils of metal. Unlike punching—where the hole is the goal and the cut-out is waste—in blanking, the cut-out piece is the final product

How a Blanking Machine Processes Fastener?

For exemple,In your factory, the blanking machine serves as the essential first step for high-volume production of washers and complex fastener components:
  1. Material Feeding: Large coils or sheets of high-performance alloys like Inconel 718 or Super Duplex are fed into the machine.
  2. The Shearing Stroke: A hardened steel or carbide punch descends with immense force, shearing the metal against a die to create the outer profile of the part.
  3. Compound Operations: For items like washers, a compound die can perform “blanking” (cutting the outer circle) and “piercing” (cutting the center hole) in a single stroke, ensuring perfect concentricity.
  4. Cold Processing: Because blanking is a mechanical “cold” process, it maintains the material’s strength and avoids heat-affected zones (HAZ), which is critical for maintaining the corrosion resistance of 316L 317L and Monel alloys.

We are a leading manufacturer of high-strength, corrosion-resistant bolts, nuts, washers, and CNC machined parts. Our facility is equipped with advanced blanking machines and precision CNC centers to handle the most demanding materials in the industry.
Our Specialized Material Expertise:
  • Nickel Alloys: High-temperature Inconel bolts and acid-resistant Hastelloy fasteners.
  • Stainless Steels: Marine-grade 316L/317L stainless steel washers and high-pitting-resistant Monel parts.
  • Duplex Steels: High-yield Duplex and Super Duplex stainless steel nuts for offshore and chemical processing.

Why Choose Our Blanking & Machining Services?

  • Superior Accuracy: Our blanking process ensures tight tolerances and high repeatability for mass-produced alloy washers and blanks.
  • Material Integrity: Cold-blanking preserves the mechanical properties of Super Duplex and Inconel, ensuring no thermal damage to the alloy structure.
  • CNC Precision: Secondary CNC machining allows us to deliver complex geometries in Monel and Hastelloy with exceptional surface finishes.
