duplex

2507 stainless steel is composed of 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum and 7% nickel. It has strong strength and corrosion resistance and is mainly used in chemical processing, petrochemical industry and subsea equipment. It has strong resistance to chloride corrosion, high thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion coefficient. The higher chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen content makes it highly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion and general corrosion. It is a super duplex stainless steel type, containing high molybdenum and nitrogen, with the standard grade UNS S32750 (25Cr-7Ni-3.7Mo-0.3N), and some also contain tungsten and copper, with a PREN value greater than 40.

It can be used in harsh media conditions and has good comprehensive corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, comparable to super austenitic stainless steel. 2507 stainless steel is used in the oil and gas industry; offshore Shipotian oil platform (heat exchanger tubes, water treatment and water supply systems, fire protection systems, sprinkler systems, water stabilization systems; petrochemical equipment; Desalination (desalination) equipment (and high-pressure pipes and seawater pipes in the equipment); mechanical and structural components that require both high strength and high corrosion resistance; combustion (waste) gas purification equipment. Main components: 25Cr-7Ni-4Mo-0.27N

2205 stainless steel is a duplex stainless steel composed of 21% chromium, 2.5% molybdenum and 4.5% nickel-nitrogen alloy. It has high strength, good impact toughness and good overall and local stress corrosion resistance. 2205 stainless steel belongs to the medium alloy type, the representative grade is UNS S32205, the PREN value is 32-33, and its corrosion resistance is between AISI 316L and 6%Mo+N austenitic stainless steel. Performance supplement: Main components: 22Cr-5.3Ni-3.2Mo-0.16N; National standards: NAS 329J3L, UNS S32205/S31803, DIN/EN 1.4462, ASTM A240, ASME SA-240; Mechanical properties: Tensile strength: σb≥640Mpa; Elongation: δ≥25%; Typical working conditions: 20% dilute sulfuric acid, below 60℃, annual corrosion rate <0.1mm; Matching welding wire: ER2209
